Got a taste for a culinary adventure or looking to learn more about a country/culture? Our expert guides/home chefs will walk you through their own unique recipes and talents live! Imagine the aromas in your kitchen as you use spices sourced from across the globe as you prepare local authentic recipes. Learn the meaning of ingredients, the cultural influences of each dish, historical background and personal stories.

Private cooking classes are always available by request. Public cooking classes have been paused for the summer and will return with new recipes in the Fall!

CULTURAL COOKING CLASSES:

Each 90-120-minute session will include a shipment of special ingredients, a full recipe, and live cooking class followed by a Q&A and a memorable dish! Culinary experiences must be booked within 14 days of the experience date to accommodate shipping of materials.

Public Classes are priced from $19 – 39 (depending on ingredients needed/shipped)

Private Classes start at $250 (includes ingredient and shipping costs for up to three households, each additional household is $15 to cover ingredients and shipping expenses)

Middle Eastern

Take a culinary voyage of Middle Eastern food while also learning the history and personal stories behind each dish. Choose a public class by dish or select a private group tour with your choice of dishes such as maqluba, hummus, falafel, musakhan, shawarma, or shakshouka.

Latin American

From Costa Rica to Colombia; explore the authentic and zesty flavors of Latin America with us. Choose a public class by dish or select a private group tour with your choice of dishes such as homemade tortillas, ajiaco, arroz con leche, arepas with ceviche de mango, and papas chorreadas.

Asian

Savory, sweet, spicy and sour – Asian cuisine has a way of combining all flavors into one dish. On this culinary journey, we have selected authentic recipes and will highlight the background of each dish. Learn to make pho, goi cuon (spring rolls), thit kho (pork stew), and bahn xeo.

Wine Tasting

In addition to the basic sensory techniques needed for wine analysis, we’ll share the background behind the best wines, and the secrets to always ordering and purchasing the best wines.

Photography

Learn the secrets to taking stunning images and capturing beautiful scenes. Explore the nuances and etiquette needed when taking photos while travelling. Discover the best photo editing software and programs.

Arabic & Hebrew

Learn the history behind the languages, the similarities, differences, all while picking up frequently used phrases and words to use on your next journey to the holy land. Yalla!

Cancellation Policy

Up to 14 days prior: 100% refund

14 days – 24 hours prior: 80% refund (20% is retained to accommodate the materials cost) or a full credit towards a future experience.

Guest Requirements

You’ll need an internet connection and the ability to stream audio and video to participate. A link and details on how to join will be included in your booking confirmation email.
